The ModSnap is constructed of poly carbonate material and provides a barrier to the elements.

Sweep and clean the epdm or corrugated metal roof before applying the ModSnap.
Once swept , clean a 12" area approximately 18" from the mate-line with a solvent or cleaner
This will remove any grease or grime that may hinder a good bonding of the male ModSnap to the surface

Once cleaned, snap a chalk line at 18" from the mate-line
Although there may be several methods of attaching the male ModSnap to the surface, for epdm use 3" inseam tape and apply the primer first.

Once the primer has dried apply the inseam tape so that the middle of the tape is on the chalk line

Using a hand roller, firmly roll the tape to insure a good seal
Once applied, apply primer on the backside of the male ModSnap and peel liner from tape.
When the primer is dry you can then apply the male ModSnap

Be sure to hand roll both wings as well as the center point of the male ModSnap to provide a strong bonding of the tape to the male ModSnap

Lot set yard capping
When you are butting two male ModSnaps together be sure to get them as close as possible as to prevent an intrusion of the elements. Once installed you can then place poly sheeting over the male ModSnaps and snap it on with the female ModSnap.

Perfect barrier to the elements
