5/22/09 Smart Seal has just developed an inexpensive, practical way to obtain horizontal containment for the water restoration industry. This new PVC extrusion will allow the user to quickly frame out a room at the floor level or up to 4'-5' above the floor and snap on poly-sheeting. This will lower the ceiling level and concentrate the drying effort down to cubic feet.
For mold, lead and asbestos abatement, this product will also work with the aluminum PCU to allow the user to adjust the size of their containment in the field. There is also a possibility for soft wall construction allowing the user to build a framed wall and snap on the poly.
